B6.4 Landscaping and screening

Implementing high-quality landscaping and screening can help employment areas feel more connected to their surroundings and more pleasant to spend time in. Well-designed planting and visually permeable boundaries can soften the edges of buildings, create a welcoming atmosphere, and offer a sense of openness without compromising security. By using landscape buffers thoughtfully, we can blend workspaces into the wider environment, supporting biodiversity, respecting views, and creating places that feel cared for and well integrated.
